In the human body the sciatic nerve is the largest nerve. The sciatic nerve is started from the leg, spine down and it controls the muscles of the back, lower leg and knees. When this nerve compressed or injured so a pin is stated into this nerve and that pain is called as the sciatica. There may lots of reasons of the pain of the sciatic. The slipped disc is a reason of the sciatic nerve pain and when the tissues separating the vertebra rupture in bones, so it called as the slipped disc. The trauma from any fall or accident is also a big cause of the pain of this sciatic nerve.

And then the reaction ordered from the mind is supplied back to the leg. Any pain, itching, tenderness and any other type of the sensation is always sending from the mind in the buttocks.
